My Journey
The path that shaped how I design, think, and build.

2014 - 2017

B.A. English, Media & Cultural Studies

Studying English, Media & Cultural Studies deepened my understanding of how people communicate, tell stories, and make sense of the world around them.
It taught me to analyse meaning, interpret emotion, and think critically about the relationship between message and experience, a foundation that continues to shape how I approach design and interaction today.

2017 - 2020

Teaching & Creative Communication

After graduating, I spent many years teaching and mentoring - experiences that honed my ability to listen, simplify, and connect.
Translating complex ideas into something others could understand gave me a deep appreciation for clarity, empathy, and the human side of learning, all of which now underpin how I design and collaborate.

2020 - 2021

Exploring Technology

My curiosity about how digital products worked led me to explore programming and design.
What began as self-study soon became a deeper exploration into the world of development - spending evenings learning to code, experimenting with small projects, and taking short courses with Code First Girls.
It was during this time that I discovered how logic and creativity could coexist, and how design and engineering could together shape meaningful digital experiences.

2021 - 2022

Foundations in Software Engineering

I continued developing my technical skills through structured learning and projects, gaining experience in web development and front-end fundamentals.
During this time, I joined Code First Girls, where I built upon my curiosity for technology with hands-on experience in collaborative, real-world coding projects.
It was here that I began to see engineering as another form of design, where structure, logic, and creativity converge to serve human needs.

2022 - 2023

Early Industry Experience

Joining my first engineering teams gave me the space to apply what I’d learned in real-world projects.
I embraced collaboration, learned from talented developers, and refined my ability to balance technical precision with empathy for the end user.
It was here that I began shaping my identity as a designer-engineer, someone who bridges understanding between people and technology.

2023 - Present Day

Front-End Engineering & UX/UI Design

My work now brings together everything I’ve learned so far - human insight, design thinking, and technical craft.
I focus on creating digital tools that turn complexity into clarity, helping people move seamlessly from problem to understanding.
Each project is an opportunity to design with intention: empathetic, thoughtful, and quietly effective.
